Local Pubs
Real ale pubs with websites seem few and far between in our area - please email me at the address above if you stumble across any.
Beverley
Brantingham
Bridlington
Hull
Hop & Vine - Pave - The Wellington
North Howden
Sewerby
A very useful resource for pubs in Hull are Simon Mason's pages. This remarkable set of pages, obviously a labour of love, has a photograph and a highly useful location map for each pub in Hull, with a brief comment on each one, and seems to be totally up to date. The pages are divided alphabetically by pub name A-C, C-F, G-M, M-R, R-V and V-Z .
Interesting for its coverage of old pubs and breweries, amongst many other things to do with Hull, is Paul Gibson's Personal History of Hull site.
Nearby Local CAMRA Branches
To have a look at some of the nearby branches websites, please follow the links below. Many other local sites can be accessed via the main CAMRA website.
Doncaster - Grimsby - Halifax - Huddersfield - Leeds - Lincoln - Scunthorpe - Sheffield - Southern Dales - Wakefield - York
Giving links to sites from this page does not mean that those sites are approved by CAMRA, but they are worth a look....
Local (-ish) Breweries
For details of East Yorkshire Breweries please see our own page. These breweries have been chosen as they have visitors centres and beer may be mail ordered from them.
Batemans - Black Sheep Brewery - Cropton Brewery - Timothy Taylors - Theakstons - York Brewery
The quaffale site has now come back to life, which is good as it is one of the best sources of information on breweries and beers, but the beermad site is almost as good, with details on most beers and a good set of brewery links. A good source of news is the Beer Today site. The Inside Beer site run by Jeff Evans is also very useful. Another useful site is Oxford Bottle Beer Database which has a good database and discussion of most bottled beers.
Real Ale Delivery Services
(Only for if you are ill and cannot reach a pub... These have a range of difficult to get beers, and have been selected as they advertise in What's Brewing)
Beer-Ritz - Hambleton Ales - Beer4Home.co.uk - realale.com - LivingBeer.com
